Yep. Its definitely possible. Thunderbird2k have ported Quake 3 over to Android and made it freely available at http://code.google.com/p/kwaak3/
The installation is pretty straightforward. Download the apk and install it to your droid.
According to the instructions provided by thunderbird2k you need to
- Create a directory quake3 in the root of your sdcard and also create a baseq3 directory inside it.
- Copy pak0.pk3 of your Quake3 CD (or from the demo) to the quake3/baseq3 directory.
- Download the Quake3 1.32 point release and copy pak1-pak8.pk3 to quake3/baseq3
But luckily 10roller over at Alldroid.org have generously done all the work and conveniently packed all the necessary files into 1 single RAR file.
Just download the RAR from http://www.mediafire.com/?mg02nnimrdz and extract it to the root of your SD card.
